Giorgio Casciarri

Born in Florenz, the tenor was a student of Jorge Ansorena.

After he won in 1991 the international Competition V. Bellini he made his debut in the role of Duca di Mantova in Rigoletto at the Piccinni Theatre in Bari. He repeated this role 200 times around the world.

He has sung in many of the most important theatres in Italy and around the world such as La Scala of Milan, the Comunale of Florence, La Fenice of Venice, L’Opera of Rome, the Carlo Felice of Genoa, the Verdi of Trieste, the Bellini of Catania, the Massimo of Palermo, the Regio of Parma, the Donizetti of Bergamo, the Grande of Brescia, the Ponchielli of Cremona, the Goldoni of Livorno, the Verdi of Pisa, the Comunale of Modena and Ferrara, the Arena and the Filarmonico of Verona, the Sferisterio of Macerata, the Festival of Torre del Lago, the Festival of Val D’Itria etc.
